C-3PO was a popular figure, he had 5POA and a gold plated finish (in this figure he has a lot of scars and bruises). Kenner used a process of vacuum metalising - a method that applied a thin layer of chrome to a figure - cutting edge technology for the time.

For some reason he is painted black around the midriff 😊, actually he could do with a re-plate.

See-Threepio (C-3PO) Protocol Droid 1982 Removable Limbs SW ANH

The very first C-3PO action figure was released in 1978 by Kenner during the original vintage Star Wars series. Hasbro has been releasing C-3PO action figures gradually over the years, including Concept and even Holiday versions of the Protocol Droid.

The most difficult C-3PO figure to find these days is the animated version from the 1985 Droid TV show.

This version comes with rough finishing panels put on by Padme - the scene was eventually deleted.

Artoo-Detoo and See-Threepio (C-3PO and R2-D2) 2013

R2-D2 and C-3PO escape from the Rebel ship Tantive IV as it is boarded by Darth Vader and Imperial Stormtroopers. The Droids flee the ship in an escape pod that falls to the remote desert planet Tatooine - and puts in motion an advernture that will change the galaxy forever.

Although date stamped 2013 they were released in 2014.
