The LEGO License for the Star Wars franchise started in 1999.
The characters produced cover all eight main films, along with The Clone Wars movie and TV series, the Star Wars: Rebels TV series, and anthology films such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The current license for LEGO Star Wars will end in 2022.
A good reference guide is the Updated and Expanded Visual Dictionary from DK Publishing (2014).
